A model of "Little Boy," the atomic bomb that was made with uranium enriched at Y-12 and dropped on Hiroshima, Japan, near the end of World War II, now hangs in the American Museum of Science & Energy. But, back in the day, it was an outdoor monument at AMSE's predecessor -- the American Museum of Atomic Energy on Jefferson Avenue.
